Blogs are becoming a very popular tool amongst brides who own wedsites these days. We even have a list in our w@w forum. It’s a pretty glamorous way to inform people of pet projects (or gloat of, hehe – fish tayomga dear!) or rant of the day’s worst, but it’s too taxing for me to do on a regular basis. I’ve (semi) given up on blogging the day I realized I am indeed, an adult (sucks). I still keep a small journal in my bag whenever I go, though for emergency purposes. Yeah, I’m very retro, so sue me.
Writing on paper just seems more convenient to me. I don’t need to plug and unplug every time, observe the dsl activity or have a million strangers searching my entries by accident. I don’t need to filter my words, compartmentalize what’s discreet and what’s not. I can choose who my public viewer is and who’s not. I guess there’s also the grand drama of writing with a pen and paper (Angst, pare. Angst. haha) and the idea of your children finding your inaamag ng journals in a golden baul someday. Haha.

Don’t get me wrong, though. I salute people who have the passion to pursue such a time-consuming, daunting task (blogging). I’m envious of the perseverance (ah, the daily updates and uploads – keep the flare up, dearies). Just not so much for me, I guess. Like I always say, isa kong matandang hukluban.
