My most memorable exploration to date was when me and my family went to Nagcarlan, Laguna. I'm against it at first because i thought the place was so boring but after getting there and exploring different sites and scenery, i was so amazed on how historical some sites were and how untouched and magnificent the forest plus the river there. i was so moved by that adventure that it still makes me smile whenever i remember that event.

My most memorable exploration was my climb at mt amuyao in benguet. This is where my husband and I met. The irony is, he's from Laguna(South) while i am from Isabela (north), fate worked its way to make our path crossed. Now, we have been married for 7 years and have 2 handsome boys…And until now, we're still conquering our life's mountains together….

My most memorable exploration was our vacation in Tadian Mountain Province! (my dad's hometown)Its my 3rd time to visit there. I love the climate and the nature…very relaxing.I also experienced mountain climbing, crossed in a long hanging bridge and some relatives showed me on how they get gold from the stones. But the most amazing thing i discovered was…almost all the people in the village were belong to my dad's clan! Wow! I have met some but I'm looking forward to meet the others next vacation and have another adventure there this time with my kids. 🙂

When I went to Dubai to follow my girlfriend without any knowledge of the territory and without any concrete plans just a tourist visa and a small amount of pocket money.
After my visa expired I went home with empty pockets but with a gorged heart with love.

I remember it was a gray-day with the billowing clouds overhead, we had a picnic, if you could consider a loaf of bread and two bottles of mineral water a whole picnic..well, i do. Grass around, wet with dew, all the flowers, then the things is, the sun lit up the whole scene, making a halo of light directly overhead…and the feeling is sooo heavenly….
the thing that made it memorable, even though it is never too far from the depressed city around it, is that i am with my friends. And i think that made the difference.

One of my Islands exploration has been a memorable one because each time I visit, I would go to a different province and experience a different scenery. There is always a new thing whenever I am there.
There is so much to explore and so much to experience, and I want to have as much of those as I can each time I am on a vacation in the Philippines.
It's so nice to travel to the Philippine Islands countryside and be away from the hectic world. It's also nice to be in a relaxed atmosphere where the lifestyle is laid back and simple, it makes a perfect setting for a tropical paradise vacation.
Sipping on my favorite drink along a remote beach in the Philippine Islands, where the only noise you'll hear is the splashing of the ocean waters, has always been my dream.
The Filipinos are perhaps the warmest and most hospitable people you'll find on earth, and are easy to get along. it's a care free environment, so set aside the fuzziness because Filipinos aren't fuzzy people. Communication? Not a problem. Most Filipinos understand and speak English.
Because it is warm in the Philippine islands , I enjoy spending time in the malls, the beaches or up the mountains. And what better way is there to beat the heat and enjoy yourself than to be in these places? Of course a vacation will not be complete without the foods. Yes, the Filipino foods are so richly diverse there is always something for everyone's taste.
Vacation wise, the Philippines is big. There are too many destinations to cover, that three, four or even five visits will not be enough.
There are so many things you can do as well, like water sports activities both inshore and offshore, hiking, camping, sightseeing or mountain climbing if you are in the high lands, and shopping if you are in the big metropolis.
Sports fishing is another exciting thing you can do while you are in the islands so bring your tackles along. There is always something for everyone to enjoy here.
Scuba diving has picked up in terms of popularity the past several years. There are countless of wonderful dive spots around the Philippine Islands with rich marine life and warm waters that make this sport so enticing to venture into.
There are also some good surfing destinations as well but they are seasonal.
If you are used to a crowded urban setting, then Manila is for you and you should include it in your itinerary when you travel to the Philippine Islands.
There are plenty of bargain shops around and the prices are unbelievably cheap you would wonder how these people make money.
But if you want a relaxing and tranquil environment, just head straight to the provinces and there you'll find the friendlier people, the gorgeous pristine beaches and the picturesque mountains and volcanoes of the Philippine Islands.

This happened at Intramuros, Manila three years ago. I was with a close friend and I was brokenhearted that time, which led us to exploring the walls of Intramuros. We found its hidden treasures (the food and the scenery) and we had an unexpected History trip! Funny story, but nevertheless worth remembering!

My most memorable exploration to date is 'island hopping', from Batangas to Mindoro to Boracay to Romblon with my tita, lolo and cousins. We are originally from Batangas, so it's easier to go to Bora, which was our target destination, by riding a ship to Mindoro. From there, we took another ship to Katiklan, Aklan, then rode a boat to Bora. That ship sailing took about a day. Then we stayed at Bora for a day too. It was my first time going there so everything looked exciting. The night life was awesome. We rode the banana boat too, and I would suggest people to ride it too. It was fun. After Biora, we rode two boats to go to Romblon. We stayed there for a day. We checked in in a motel, but because my Lolo had s friend there, we had our meals at his friend's house. And my, they were one of the best meals I ever had. Seafoods and fruits galore, from grilled fish and squids to sea shells, with mangoes and bananas. Plus mounds of hot rice. We went back to Batangas by a ship. What I really liked about it is it's an unplanned lakad, and I only spent 300php because my tita and lolo paid for everything else!

My most memorable exploration to date is trekking the rivers in Isabela. Although I am not from Isabela, I used to go there as part of my work. Our organization then was one of those who actively support the ban on illegal logging in isabela. We used to walk every morning to search for logs in the rivers together with the soldiers and police. I was really afraid and uncomfortable at first, not only because I'm the only girl in the group, but also the threats that we received from the people because of such work. But, for me, it's our duty to help and do our duty to protect the environment. Thus, it really became memorable for me. Tripping while working is really a good combination.:)

It was when I traveled to Seoul, South Korea alone! That was September of 2010. I was supposed to be with a friend, but she backed out. I love Korea, and couldn't resist of postponing the trip, so I planned, read, and did my research. I even have my itinerary on an excel file! I was so nervous, its my first time travelling to a foreign land alone. At the end of it all, I was thankful I didn't cancel the trip. It was the most memorable exploration. Everyday, I met other tourists of different nationalities, and it was so fun to exchange conversations and tour Seoul with them. I'll never forget it. Seoul was the safest, prettiest, cleanest, most foreigner friendly place I've been. =)

My most memorable exploration happened here in Manila. Our professor in our subject Rizal required us to visit different places that are related to our national hero. We first visited the Paco Cemetery in Paco Manila, we took pictures and we were so happy because there was an on going wedding in the chapel inside the park. We talked about our dream wedding and dream man also. Next, we went to Lights and Sound presentation in Luneta park. That place celebrates the life of Dr. Jose Rizal. There are statues, miniatures and his works like Mi Ultimo Adios are shown. Our last stop for that day is Intramuros, we took pictures (again and again!) and for the second time around, we witnessed another wedding but that time, the reception only. We were so happy and tired. Jumping from one place to another is a very tiring but very exciting. :))

My most memorable exploration was when i traveled Cebu. it was my first time in cebu and my first time to travel solo. i thought of cancelling my trip because of health problems and insufficient budget but thinking of my ticket that would be put in a waste is a big no-no. it was full of first times. i have a do-it-yourself trip and my fund is quite enough for 4 days. i visited cebu's historic places and landmarks and rode in a jeepney whenever i go, tasted different cuisine and eat at affordable fast food chains. i rode a motorbike going to taoist temple but walked under the heat of the basking sun from Beverly Hills gate to reach taoist temple because only private transpo could enter. i was breathless when i reached it but it was really worthy. i also used my haggling expertise to buy accessories for pasalubong and never let pass to experience the definitely must try cebu's skyadventure in which i met new friends. i visited also my relatives in the neighboring city of cebu. the trip was a gift to me. an opportunity to know more of what kind of person i am and the person i want to become. i could say that the journey has been more memorable than the destination that i’ve planned.

My most memorable exploration was my trip to New York last December. It really made my 2011 a huge year for me not only because I was given the chance to see another side of the world but to change my life as well. I flew to and from the Big Apple all by myself and that in itself was already a challenge for me especially since it was my first trans-atlantic flight. Aside from that, I had to spend Christmas and New Year's with strangers because my family was in the Philippines. Being alone during that trip to NY totally changed me. It's not that I'm not used to being with myself; it's just that spending wonderful moments in a foreign yet beautiful country is a lot more fun with the people that you love the most. But through that experience, I had more time to appreciate everything in that city. I was more eager to absorb all the things I saw, felt, heard, smelled and tasted. I had more time to find meaning in my journey. Overall, New York has opened my eyes to a lot of realities in life: that with independence comes strength and wisdom, that family and friends are your greatest treasures in life and that home, the Philippines, is where my heart truly belongs. It took a lot of effort to brave the cold and challenging world of New York but with God's grace, I emerged as a better person who is not to afraid to take her chances and deal with airport personnel. 🙂

My most memorable exploration to date was when we had our company summer getaway in Almalin Beach Resort, Lobo, Batangas. Google provided very little & vague information about Lobo. Getting to Lobo was an adventure in itself. The road going there is terrible – rough zigzag roads and two spectacular mountain range, Mt Calo & Mt Hebangao, to pass by. There's a strange feeling like you're not in Batangas anymore. It took us almost 4-5 hours just to get there. But it's worth our travel because the Resort is a little slice of Paradise with clean crisp air, crystal clear water and golden sand beach. 🙂

I would like to use the opportunity to fill you in my most memorable travel experience. I seldom travel due to busy schedule and budget restraints. Last March 2010, I decided to surprise my partner and gave him a "travel gift" as my birthday present. I have been so fascinated by Cebu and it was the right time for us to explore it for the first time. We traveled via plane on the day of his birthday. Cebupac employees were nice enough to give him a simple token during the flight. We both were excited to explore Cebu in terms of scenic spots, food, nature trip, etc. Cebuanos were quite friendly & hospitable to tourists because as we set foor on that town, they assisted us in public transpo, hotel, food/places to try, etc. We stayed in Cebu for 3 days. I wanted my partner to overcom ehis fear of heights so I decided for us to try Crown Regency's Edge Coaster & Skywalk experience (this is also the main reason why I chose Cebu). We tried out our orange prison-like jumpsuits and were taught what to do on the Skywalk ramp. Afterwards, we went up to try the Edge Coaster ride. It was really something especially at parts where you can't see any ledge below to break down the fall incase you fall. I went nuts in most parts because I couldn't see my feet anymore and my partner is acrophobia! It was a great experience knowing that I helped overcome my partner's fear of heights or at least I did 😀 One thing's for sure, my partner will not forget the eardrum-busting screams I did for shouting my lungs out. LOL! For me, this was my most memorable trip because all my hard-earned money has been put to make my partner's birthday a memorable one.

My most memorable exploration to date would be my 3D 2N Bataan-Subic trip with my college friends. It was my first vacation without "parental supervision". Well, aside from the fact that it was tons of fun, what makes this particular event stick to my mind is that during the duration of the trip I had to face my fear twice. I'm an acrophobic so just imagine how scared and thrilled I was when we climbed Mt Samat and went Superman at the TreeTop Adventure. Such adrenaline rush! ^^

In that trip I felt so much love and appreciate everything around us!!!!

My memorable exploration was our family trip to Bicol. We went there to visit Peñafrancia Shrine in Naga City, part of our Visita Iglesia last lenten season of 2009. 2 hours from Naga City, we also went to famous Mayon Volcano. It is really majestic and beautiful. Many local and foreign tourists go there especially on summer where few clouds will be seen on the summit of the volcano. The people were very kind and warm. I will definitely go back in Bicol maybe later this year.

My most memorable exploration to date was just last year (April 3 to be exact) when I and my boyfriend tried to conquer Bantayan on foot. All the while we thought that it's just a small island in Cebu and that we can travel along its coast for at most an hour. After two hours of walking, we found ourselves at the arch bordering Sta. Fe and Bantayan. It was only then when we realized that the island actually has 3 municipalities, and that it's impossible to travel from one end to the other in just an hour. Nonetheless it was a fun and exciting experience. During that long journey, we learned a lot about each other, discovered new things together, got to appreciate one another better, and loved each other even more. 🙂
You have a nice wedsite, by the way. 🙂
