Deliciously Upscale Boutique Hotels in Florida

Florida isn’t called the Sunshine State for nothing. Seated on the southeastern U.S. peninsula, it’s packed with miles and miles of glaring beaches, romantic boating canals, and a vibrant food and hotel scene.

Speaking of hotels, if luxury is a priority, there isn’t a shortage of hip and upscale hotels across the state. Here are some worth checking out.

All-Suite Comfort at Embassy Suites

Embassy Suites is not only suitable for luxury travelers , it’s also an excellent handicap-accessible hotel option in Fort Lauderdale.  Hosting spacious two-room suites with mobility features, two TVs, and a receiving area, the hotel has accessible elevators, exercise facilities, parking spaces, and routes to other areas within. Guests also enjoy perks like complimentary hot breakfast and nightly appetizers and cocktails. If you’re bringing kids with you, be sure to try the outdoor pool and the under-12 menu. Check out the beaches and the Museum of Discovery and Science too. Both are just close by.

Relax in Suites Overlooking the Atlantic at Hyatt Regency

Another gem in Fort Lauderdale, the Hyatt Regency Pier 66 is a 22-acre palm-fringed luxury property amid emerald seas. Equipped with LCD TV, mini fridge, and dermatologist-approved bath essentials, each room overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. Deluxe rooms have their own balconies as well as sitting areas.

With its own marina, the hotel affords guests enjoyable yacht cruises and fishing charters. Complimentary shuttles are available, too, to nearby golf courses and Fort Lauderdale Beach. If you’d rather stay in, there are three pools, a deluxe spa center, tennis courts, and five award-winning restaurants on site to check out.

Be Steps Away from Campus Attractions with Hilton University of Florida Center Gainesville

Built within the University of Florida campus, Hilton University of Florida Center Gainesville puts you at the center of the university golf course and Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. It’s also within walking distance of the Florida Museum of National History and Harm Museum of Art.

After strolls, head to the hotel’s all-day gym, have cocktails at the lounge, enjoy Western fare at Albert’s Restaurant, or dip in the outdoor pool and hot tub to relax. Cap off your day in a contemporary room with a work desk, a custom-designed bed, and LED TV. Suites include a receiving area and a kitchen.

Experience the Best of Florida Keys at Best Western Key Ambassador Resort Inn

If you’re looking for affordable but lavish accommodations near Key West International Airport, then look no further than Best Western Key Ambassador Resort Inn. Tucked in a quiet area, this seven-acre hotel allows guests unparalleled access to world-renowned snorkeling and parasailing destinations, as well as local diners, shops, theaters, and museums, including the Hemingway House.
Rooms are masterfully decorated and furnished with coffeemaker, fridge, microwave, office desk, and cable TV– not to mention beautiful oceanfront views from the balcony.

On site, there’s a heated beachfront pool with a poolside bar, where you can enjoy complimentary Continental breakfast. Other freebies include parking, high-speed internet, local calls, and airport shuttle.

Ultra-Luxurious Seafront Suites at The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, Miami

Though built in 1953, the Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, Miami is every bit as modern and luxurious as any other Ritz-Carlton outfit. The tasteful accommodations have marble bathrooms with bath tubs, 24/7 room service, minibars, iPod docks, free breakfast, and LCD TVs with premium cable channels. Upgrade to a suite to enjoy a balcony overlooking the sea; a kitchen, and exclusive club lounge access.

From here, the David T. Kennedy Park, Bass Museum of Art, and Dinner Key Picnic Islands Park are a short drive away.
