Me wanna go to Iceland

For reals.

 I’m not so sure why people associate Eiffel Tower with romance. Honestly, I don’t find anything remotely romantic with a man-made structure that resembles a PLDT tower. There’s nothing romantic about something that can be replicated by the average human species. See, we even have one in Norzagaray (Okay, so it doesn’t light up dramatically at night, but still.).


But the stark contrast between gray fjords and orange to pink sunsets, willowy grasslands against  rugged, desolate mountains, stunning glacial lagoons, and a three-tier, tumultuous cascading falls? Now that is breathtaking. That is the real emblem of drama at its most natural. That is Iceland.


 (And did I mention that the country inhabits only close to 320,000 people? That’s like, not even a quarter of the entire Philippines’ 2012 population.) 

 And that, is where I wanna go.

 If only I didn’t watch Heima. Or listened to Sigur Ros at all. Half of this yearning is because I want to experience Sigur Ros first-hand. Preferably in one of them open-air concerts that them Nordic-dressed locals flock to. Sigur Ros. *sigh*



 Today we start counting free miles, oui?
